Muskegon Civic Theatre has cast its holiday production of the musical “A Christmas Carol.”
Appearing in the show that will run Nov. 15 through Dec. 1 at the downtown Beardsley Theater will be Dave Mathews as Scrooge, Bella Resterhouse as Martha Cratchit and Fanny, Brian Reeds as Fred and Christmas Yet to Come, Da’Kiya Covington as Belle 1 and Belle, David Inbody as Marley and Fezziweg, Dustin Day as Bob Cratchit/Young Scrooge/Man 3, James Leach as Man and Man 2, Jaylund Knight as Ned/Albert Cratchit/Lad, Kairo Johnson as Toby and Tiny Tim Cratchit, Katelyn Nagel as Lucy Cratchit, Lorrell Stark as Mrs. Cratchit, Luke Maat as Boy Scrooge/Peter Cratchit/Ignorance, Macey Williams as Christmas Past and Want, Martha Kallenbach as Woman/Charwoman/Mary, Michael Ramsey as Christmas Present, Paul Dickens-Jacobs as Fiddler/Gilbert/Man 1/Undertaker, Rachel Williams as Grocer and Cynthia, Riley McEvoy as Belinda Cratchit, Robin Erdman as Laundress and Mrs. Fezziweg, Samantha Portice as Josephine, Shell’ey Gilbert as Fruit Seller and Martha, and Walter Mrotz as Coachman/John/Old Joe.
“A Christmas Carol” is being directed by Jason Bertoia. Janie Glerum is the music director, and Portice is choreographing.
This “A Christmas Carol” is a musical adaptation of the classic yuletide ghost story by Charles Dickens. The show’s book and lyrics are by Sheldon Harnick, and the music is by Michel Legrand.
