Muskegon – The Muskegon Museum of Art ‘s 2016 “On Tap” will invite representatives from breweries up and down the coast of West Michigan to discuss the art of brewing and the finer points of their products May 14, from 6-9 p.m. Attendees will sample a wide variety of fine craft brews, paired with food from the area’s finest restaurants and view new works of art in the MMA’s 88th Regional Exhibition.
Each ticket includes five 4-ounce tasting tickets and food samplings from area restaurants. Additional tasting tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
Participating brewing companies are Pigeon Hill, Unruly, Fetch, Vander Mill Ciders, Big Lake, Our Brewing Co., Founders, Grand Armory, Shorts and Dutch Girl Brewery.
Participating restaurants are The Lake House Waterfront Grille, Applebee’s Grill & Bar, Hank’s Tavern, Rebel Pies, Se4sons Gastropub, The Cheese Lady, Ryke’s Bakery Catering & Café and Buzz’s Lakeside Inn.
Sponsored by Huntington Bank, this event which features the draughts of Michigan craft brews, food/brew pairing samples and new works by artists from around Michigan, typically sells out. Advance tickets are $30 ($25 for MMA members) and $35 at the door, as available.
